Hi, guys! I know prom season is coming up super soon so I wanted to make a couple of prom tutorials for you! This is my darker, smokier, more sultry look and my next tutorial will be my softer prom look so keep an eye out! I choose to use the LORAC PRO Palette 2 for this tutorial because it’s a wonderful palette and pretty popular! While I had prom in mind when creating this look, it’s still awesome for tons of other occasions, of course!

Tutorial time again, loves! Trying to keep a balance of video and pictorials for you guys as well as a balance between supa’ bold and supa’ wearable so today’s look is going to be a really wearable, pretty look that’s appropriate for nearly every occasion and is really easy to pull off! I’m planning on my next eyeshadow tutorial being a really colorful, bold look so if that’s more up your alley, just hang in there because the plan is in action. 😉
Let’s begin! Eyeshadow primer is your BFF so go ahead and apply a thin layer of your favorite primer everywhere where your eyeshadow will be. My favorite eyeshadow primer is Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance.
On to the eyeshadow! The first thing I’m going to do is take this big blending brush from Makeup Addiction and apply Makeup Geek’s Peach Smoothie (matte peach) in and above my crease, making sure the edges are nice and soft.

So clearly I’ve been slacking on keeping up with my 100 days of makeup posts! I’ve actually been slacking a little with doing makeup every single day but shhh! We don’t have to talk about that part. As as it turns out, it’s really hard to do something every single day but I want to kick myself in the butt and get back to the program! My husband started a new job recently which means we’ve been getting up much earlier which means I should have more hours in the day to beat this face from now on! 😛
Anyway, here is one big, gigantic post full of all of the makeup looks I’ve done since my last 100 days of makeup post!
Using Sugarpill Poison Plum, Melt Cosmetic’s Dark Matter and the Too Faced Pretty Rebel Palette for this eye look! The rhinestones are just regular ole’ craft store gems glued on with eyelash glue. My lips are MAC lipliner in Stone topped with Sigma Beauty Lip Vex in All Heart, which is such a gorgeous chocolately color! Lashes are Red Cherry 74’s. I felt like I was ready for a performance with Cirque du Soleil! 😛
Went for a pretty casual eye using Makeup Geek’s Vanilla Bean, Peach Smoothie, Frappe and Cocoa Bear + Urban Decay’s X and Red Cherry 83 lashes but I couldn’t resist using NYX’s High Voltage in Dirty Talk on my lips! Such an insanely gorgeous shade of brown.
Can you guess who got a big package of Glitter Injections in the mail? This girl! First instinct was to top Limecrime’s Chinchilla lipstick with this gorgeous glitter.
A pretty pinky look in anticipation of Valentine’s day! Used a concoction of shadows from Makeup Geek, Sugarpill, Urban Decay and Too Faced plus more glitter from Glitter Injections! Lashes again are Red Cherry 83’s.

Hey guys! Sorry that I haven’t been posting lately but life has kept me soo busy! We’re considering moving so I’ve been on this mad dash trying to find a good apartment in time and I haven’t had much time to dedicate to my blog recently but I’ve got big plans for the future and all of this craziness should be over very soon! 😉
I know that not all of you follow me on Instagram so I figured I’d make a quick post showing you some of my recent looks as well as the details for them.
For the natural part of this eyeshadow look, I used Makeup Geek’s Peach Smoothie, Beaches and Cream, Taupe Notch, Purely Naked and Sweet Dreams & the green is from my Coastal Scents 252 Palette. This white liner is Stila’s Stay All Day in Snow. It looks super cool but I wouldn’t really recommend it. It’s hard to get opaque. I really need to break and order a good white liner! I’m also wearing Make Up For Ever’s Rouge Artist Intense in #50 on my lips.
This eyeshadow look was done with the Sephora Facets of Marsala Palette which I ADORE! The color choices in this palette are just blowing my mind since I’m a total sucker for reds and warm shades in general. Overall, I really love the Facets of Marsala Palette but certain shades have some serious fallout issues so you’ll probably want to do your eyes first with this! It appears to be sold out online but your local store might still have a few around! 😉
I’m wearing NYX Cosmetics Euro Trash on my lips and House of Lashes Temptress Wispy lashes.

It’s that time of the year again and sweet deals are waiting just around the corner! I’ve got the scoop on some awesome Black Friday and Cyber Monday Makeup deals so I’m here to share them with you. 🙂 I’ll update this post as I see more deals come to light!
First on the list is Sigma Beauty who is offering some pretty nice promotions! On Black Friday (Nov 27 – 12am PST to Nov 28 11:59pm PST) for 48 hours Sigma is offering free domestic AND international shipping with no order minimum! This is a great opportunity to for international customers to get their hands on some Sigma products while avoiding international shipping charges and it’s also great for small domestic orders! If you just need one brush, you can just get one brush without being penalized with shipping! Pay only for what you want, no shipping, no minimum order! Use code BF2014 to take advantage of this!
On Cyber Monday Sigma Beauty is offering another awesome promotion that even I’m having a really hard time trying to resist, despite having about a million brushes! 😛 They’re offering 20% off sitewide for 24 hours valid on December 1st from 12am-11:59pm PST! Sigma doesn’t do 20% off often so if you’ve been waiting to place an order or are looking for gifts for the holidays, now is your chance! Use code CM2014.
My personal recommendations for Sigma Beauty are their powder blushes which are so soft, easy to blend and overall just dreamy and of course, their brushes! One set that I personally love is the Mrs. Bunny Travel Kit which I received as a gift last Christmas.
This kit contains 7 of their best selling brushes which have a use in every makeup routine! These brushes also come in a handy little travel carrier to protect your babies during transit and the carrier also can double as two brush holders! I’ve been using these beauties for a year now and they’ve treated me great. This kit also contains one of my all time favorite brushes, the Sigma E40, which is a must-have blending brush.

Hey guys and gals! I’ve been dancing around the idea of making YouTube videos for a while now and I figured it was time to just bite the bullet and make it happen so today I made my very first video!
My first video is a LORAC Mega PRO Palette tutorial for this reddish smokey eye look.
I’m a little nervous about it finally being live but super excited at the same time! In fact, I had so much fun doing it that I already can’t wait to make more videos.
So without further adieu, here is my very first YouTube video!
If you enjoy it, please subscribe, like, comment and all that fun jazz and please feel free to tell me what kind of videos you’d like to see from me in the future!
Hey guys! I don’t think I share enough pictures of my daily makeup (FOTD = face of the day, btw!) on here so I’m going to try to change that. I might as well start by sharing a few pics from the last couple of days.
For this smokey eye look, I used Merlot, Indigo, Camel, Smokey Topaz and Cream from the LORAC Mega PRO Palette. I’m wearing Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Medium Brown on my brows and MAC Creme d’Nude on my lips.
And now for a slightly less wearable look! 😉 Okay, a lot less wearable but I had fun doing it anyway. I used MAC Fluidline in Black Track with Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liner in Glam Rock on top to create my glitter eyeliner. On my lips, I’m wearing NYX Chambord. Another NYX product that I’ve been using quite a bit lately is this awesome blue mascara you see on my lower lashes here! It’s surprisingly pigmented without any hassle. My brows were done using the Make Up For Ever Flash Palette. And last but not least, I’m wearing one of my favorite pairs of lashes here, Ardell 206’s, which I tragically broke later that night!
