NYX recently released a whole bunch of new products for their Spring 2015 collection and I somehow just keep buying more and more. My latest purchase is the NYX 3C Conceal Correct Contour Palette. This palette retails for about $12 and comes in three shades, light, medium and dark. I ordered the light palette.
Each palette comes with 6 shades customized for a range of skin tones and is designed to conceal and correct spots and discoloration as well as contour and highlight. Depending on your each persons skin tone, different people may find these shades work for them in different ways.
OVERALL REVIEW: 6.75
Packaging: I think it’s sleek and attractive and I like that it shows the contents inside. No problems here. 7/10
Longevity: Lasted well throughout the day on most of my face but creased almost immediately under my eyes. 6/10
Application: Takes some time to blend, especially the darkest shade, and I felt like the darkest shade kept looking patchy. 7/10
Texture: A thick cream reminiscent of grease paint. A bit of an unusual texture for everyday makeup. 7/10
I’ve used this palette on three different occasions now because I wanted to give it a fair chance before reviewing it but I’m still on the fence about it. Is it a terrible product? Definitely not. Do I love it? Eh, not really. Could I see how someone else might really like it? Sure.

Hey guys! It’s been way too long since I last made a video but I really want to get back on it and start making them regularly. I posted on Instagram several days ago asking for suggestions for videos and many people said they wanted to see my face routine so I delivered!
So here it is! This is the method that I use virtually every single day for my face makeup and contains several products that I’ve featured on my blog such as the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, Make Up For Ever HD Foundation, MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, MAC Warm Soul Blush as well as the Beauty Blender.
This is actually the second time that I recorded this video! The first time I spent so much time setting up, recording and even EDITING just to realize after hours of work that part of the video didn’t get recorded. Ugh. But I pushed on! haha
As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this video as well as what you’d like to see from me in the future!
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit has been flying off the shelves since it’s release so you can only imagine my joy when I found this kit at my local Sephora at a time when it was sold out everywhere.
I’ve had it for a few weeks now and I’m ashamed that I haven’t reviewed this product sooner but now I can at least say that I can do a pretty thorough review.

Overall opinion: The Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit is a great asset in any makeup collection. The colors blend easily and hold up well on your face throughout the day. The base colors in the kit my not be well suited for those who are very fair or very dark but with the soon release of 21 new shades, it will be easy to select colors that work well for your individual skin tone.
