MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul

After months of hearing oodles of great things about MAC’s Mineralize Blush ($27) in Warm Soul, I finally decided to bite the bullet and pick up this little gem and I’m glad that I did! I’m not usually a blush junkie and often reach for my BH Cosmetics Glamorous Blush Palette for most of my blush needs but MAC Warm Soul might be converting me because I suddenly feel the urge to run out to my local MAC store and pick up a few more of these beauties.

This particular blush has a lot of good things going for it. The formula is well pigmented and impressively long lasting, keeping your blush looking nice throughout the day. While the formula itself is lovely, the color is what’s really blowing me away.  Warm Soul is this incredible warm peachy shade with golden shimmer that would look beautiful on a large variety of skin tones. While the shimmer might look a little heavy on the swatch, I don’t think it makes your face look like a glitter bomb by a long shot. It’s actually a pretty subtle glow once blended onto your cheeks that adds a nice natural looking brightness to your face.

I’m wearing MAC Warm Soul in this picture but I just don’t feel like this does it justice! The subtle glow that it adds to your face is difficult to capture in photos but it’s truly gorgeous. I’m also wearing Warm Soul in my Maybelline Divine Wine post if you’d like to see a couple more shots of it!

  1. I’m also not a big blush wearer. I probably just need to find one that gives me a natural flush to start.

    1. Well Warm Soul is a great place to start for that! But yeah, I always like to take it easy on the blush too. I feel like I just look silly with heavy blush.
