Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks in Celebrity Skin & 714

Hey guys! I ended up liking the formula of my Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Blue Velvet so much that I decided to add two more shades to my collection, 714 and Celebrity Skin. I’m just going to gloss over the formula here since I’ve already done a more in depth review of Blue Velvet. If you want to see my review of Blue Velvet (and the Jeffree Star Extreme Beauty Tour deets) you can check it out here!

Let’s star with the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in 714! 714 is an absurdly gorgeous pinkish coral shade that doesn’t really resemble any other shades in my stash. I think it’s a really unique color and am 100% in love with this shade! I did find that it applied Β a tiny bit patchy at first but I just let it dry, applied another thin coat and it was perfect.

714 is what dreams are made of!

Next up is Celebrity Skin, which is described as a “soft brown nude with peachy undertones”. Honestly this color surprised me a bit. I was expecting Celebrity Skin to be more of a nude but it pulled very dark and brown on me. Not what I was expecting but still a lovely color, nonetheless! I have a friend who is a lot darker than me and Celebrity Skin isΒ a perfect nude on her so keep in mind, your skin tone plays a big role in how this shade will look.

Since Celebrity Skin turned out to not be much of a nude on me, I’m Nude is next up on my list of the Jeffree Star lipsticks to try out!

For the rest of my look:

  • Eyes – Saucebox x Batalash Palette, OFRA Gel Liner in Yellow Submarine (Use code “Sultry30” for 30% off site-wide!), Creme #WSP lashes & Go Neon glitter from Glitter Injections.
  • Brows – Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo in Medium Brown & Clear Gel.
  • Turban – Bullhorn.
  • Septum clicker – BodyArtForms.

What do you think of these shades?

Hope you babes are off to an awesome start to your weekend! <3

  1. Omg 714 is gorgeous on you! I am obsessed with baby pink lipsticks! Can I ask how long the wear time is and where they are made?

    1. If I’m correct, they’re made in California where Jeffree Starr lives, but regardless, they’re made in the USA.

    2. They well very well! It’s going to depend on what/if you’re eating and stuff but I’d say a solid 4-6 hours. Probably up to 8 if you aren’t eating anything even remotely oily.

  2. Celebrity Skin looks very dark & brown on me too. It looks nude on most people so the colour really surprised me. Still gorgeous though! xx

  3. I like your septum and, of course, Jeffrees colors on you.
I just bought a removable septum ring (I’m not pierced) and it looks HUGE on my face (doh!). I said it once and I’ll say it again, I’m a fan of Jeffrees.
Have you tried Cailyn Liquid Lipsticks – Pure Lust Extreme Matte Tint as well? I bought one in “Corruptionist”. People compliment me on it ALL the time.

    1. Thank you! Ordering septum jewelry online can be tricky. I have some that are absolutely massive but I like them in the right situations. And I have not tried them (or any products by Cailyn) but I’ll definitely check into them!

  4. Love your “alternative” style! It’s hard to find the ones who stick out! Also, I would love that first pink one, but they aren’t available here at all.

    1. Aw, thank you so much!! I know neutral looks usually end up getting a lot more praise but I stick to what I love. πŸ˜‰

  5. I found one of your pictures on Pinterest and I rarely click through the links but boy am I glad I found you. I love your work!! Your makeup is stunning
