Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel Review

Packaging: The Inglot Gel Eyeliner comes in a clear plastic tub with a black lid. The clear container makes it easy to see what color your product is. Nothing too special here but it does what it needs to do. 7/10

Longevity: Impressive! This waterproof eyeliner lasts and lasts, even in my waterline which I was starting to believe was impossible. 10/10

Application: Very smooth. The product seems thinner than other gel eyeliners and is a pleasure to apply. It does not skip or drag. 10/10

Texture: Very soft, smooth and easy to work with. 9/10

The Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel comes in a plastic container with a black screw-on lid. The product weight is about 5 grams and costs $12. For reference, MAC’s Fluidline will run you $16 for about 3 grams and Maybelline’s Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner is approximately $9 for 3 grams. When you take into account the amount of product you’re receiving, I think it’s a pretty great value.

They have many color options to choose from, some of which are very difficult to find with any other brand. I was having trouble finding a quality, bright red eyeliner and decided to try out Inglot for the first time by ordering their AMC Eyeliner Gel in 79 (red) and 77 (black) and I am so glad that I did!

This is impressive stuff. The product applies very smoothly and glides across my lids without any skipping or dragging. It is true to color, opaque and dries matte. The really impressive part is the staying power though. I have tried so many eyeliners in my waterline and up until this point, they’ve all disappeared rather quickly. I was starting to accept that I would just never have any product last in my waterline but then Inglot came along and proved me wrong! After applying these to my waterline, I set them with a matching eyeshadow and they were good to go all night! The black basically didn’t budge at all after 8 hours of wear. The red faded a little more, mostly in the very inner and outer corners, but was still very noticeably there after 8 hours. They also did really well on my lids and I didn’t notice any smudging or flaking.

There’s a small problem that comes with such a long wearing eyeliner though, it’s a bitch to remove. I made the mistake of just washing my face without first removing my eyeliner and I ended up finding bits of eyeliner around my eyes for a day or two. The next day I wised up and carefully removed my eyeliner using Q-Tips and cotton balls before washing the rest of my face and that seemed to take care of this problem.

I’m extremely happy with these eyeliners overall and plan on ordering more shades in the future. My waterline shall be beautiful!

  1. Oh that red in the waterline is divine. I still haven’t tried INGLOT but am considering it more and more. Also that pink and blue look with Wonderchilde. I’m still all over it after seeing it on instagram!

    1. Thank you so much! These are the first Inglot products I’ve tried and I’m hooked on these eyeliners. It’s hard not to order the whole collection. lol

      1. I’m trying to refrain from fawning over it on MUA too. I’m gonna try to restrict myself to two social media outlets. Have you tried the new makeup social app btw? Worlds…worst…segway…

          1. I resisted temptation for almost exactly 3 months apparently to the day but finally ordered two of the Inglot liners in 79 and decided to also pick up 76 (white) to essentially use to make the Electric Palette into liner easier.
It all started because I wanted to get Sugar Pill Lumi pigment and Beautylish suckered me in with that free shipping if you spend $35 haha

          2. Oh, I want to know how 76 works out for you! But these liners are serious stuff. 😛 I wear them when I don’t trust my other liners to hold up.

  2. I should not have clicked on the link to the product… #82 and #87 are both gorgeous shades that I could see myself using in my waterline. Well, onto the ever-growing wishlist you go, where you’ll sit sadly while I’m on this no-buy.

  3. Gurrrl. You’ve got me pining after these now. I’m going as Medusa for Halloween and 85, 86, and 87 would all be perfect. How am I supposed to decide?!

What brush do you use for applying gel liner? I’ve struggled with finding the perfect one that gives me the most control.

    1. It’s an impossible decision! lol I’m all over 85 though. I usually use a Sephora #90 brush or a MAC 210 for gel liner.

  4. What did u put on the q-tip to remove off the waterline? Nothing I am using is working
