Face of the Day – 12/15/2014

Hey hey! I just wanted to make a quick post sharing pictures of my face of the day from yesterday as well as all of the details!

For the eye look, I’m using Makeup Geek shadows in Peach Smoothie as a transition shade and Last Dance to deepen the outer portion. I’ve got KIKO eyeshadow in 203 on the inner and outer portion of my lid with KIKO 218 in the center of my lid. The pink in the inner corner is Urban Decay’s Hot Pants. I finished it up with House of Lashes Temptress Wispy lashes and a bright red waterline, courtesy of Inglot’s AMC Gel Liner in 79.

I’m also wearing Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder in Medium Brown for my brows and NYX’s Matte Lipstick in Butter on my lips.

Also, this awesome new headpiece of mine is from Bullhorn! I think they’re really lovely and a great way to turn a bad hair day into something fabulous! πŸ˜›

The husband and I are heading out to a cabin for a few days on Wednesday so I might be a little MIA for a bitΒ but I am soo pumped for a relaxing few days out in the country! Hope you’re all doing well!

  1. You’re beautiful, your eyes are gorgeous and I love your makeup. I would love to see you do more tutorials, really πŸ™‚

  2. Have a great break! What brush do you like using for your brows? I like the stiffness in the Anastasia #18 brush but was wondering if there were lower priced options that you might like better.

    1. It was awesome! I pretty much always use the Anastasia #12 brush but prior to that I was using an angled brush by Sonia Kashuk for a long time. =)

  3. So in a perfect world…Ms. Ashley AKA Makeup Guru Extraordinaire, would have a tutorial about how right handed people can get the makeup on their left eye to look the same as the right… πŸ™‚

    1. Whew, in a perfect world Ms. Ashley would be able to do that! hahah My left eye is usually a tiny bit off. πŸ˜‰
