Cut Crease Face of the Day

I don’t often post my face of the day’s on my blog but I was particularly pleased with how my first cut crease came out yesterday so I figured I’d share! I might start posting these more often because I know that I always enjoy seeing looks that others create and drawing inspiration from them.

My eye shadow look was done solely with Makeup Geek eye shadows and pigments which I’ve been really pleased with! I used them in combination with Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance and the colors stayed vibrant all day long! For the cut crease, I used Makeup Geek’s Last Dance, Taupe Notch & Purely Naked eye shadows. On my lids, I’m wearing Makeup Geek’s Sweet Dreams pigment. I was sort of expecting Sweet Dreams to fade throughout the day since it’s already such a light color but lo and behold, at the end of the day it still looked fabulous.

I’m also wearing my current favorite lip combination, NYX Matte Lipstick in Butter + Butter Gloss in Tiramisu. My eyebrows are my usual Anastasia Dipbrow in Medium Brown.

  1. This looks awesome. Would you consider posting a cut crease tutorial? Your tutorials are so helpful 🙂

Also – how you feel about Shadow Insurance vs. Urban Decay Primer Potion?

    1. I might just add that to my list! 😉 And while I own both, I pretty much always reach for my Too Faced Shadow Insurance so I can’t give a good comparison of the two BUT this would be a great idea for a new blog post!
