The Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duos are a fantastic option for giving your brows a little life! These powders allow you to create defined yet natural looking brows with ease, are buildable and last really well throughout the day.
Anastasia Beverly Hills was kind enough to send me the Brow Pro Palette which contains all 11 shades of the Brow Powder Duos plus a primer. Since I have every shade, I thought this would be a great opportunity to show them all off so everyone can see what they look like in comparison to all the other shades! The primer that comes with this palette is a nice addition. You apply this slightly waxy primer to your brows prior to using the powder and the primer helps your brows hold their shape as well as helps the powder adhere better. But fear not! If you do not have a primer, it is definitely not a necessity for these powders to provide great results for you as they perform really well on their own. In fact, I practically never bother with a brow primer.
If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you probably have noticed that I usually use Dipbrow for my eyebrows. Dipbrow is a really awesome product but there is a learning curve, it can be tricky to work with sometimes and it isn’t as easy to create a really natural looking brow with it, although certainly possible. These Brow Powder Duos however make creating a natural brow super easy! The powder is very forgiving, applies softly at first yet builds well if you want more definition and if you make a mistake, you can just clean it up with a Q-Tip and it’s like it never happened!
The 11 shades of the Anastasia Brow Powder Duos make it easy to find a match for nearly any hair color. Although I have the Brow Pro Palette here, each individual duo comes with 2 shades in a little compact with a mirror. You can use each shade however you think best suits your needs but in most cases, it’s good idea to use the lighter shade in the beginning of your brow and the darker shade towards the end of your brow as this creates a sort of gradient effect which often looks more natural than just one solid color throughout.
So let’s move on to the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo swatches!
Here I’m using the Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Medium Brown which I applied with the Anastasia #12 brush. I wore this powder all day long and at the end of the day, it was still perfectly in place! I’m also wearing Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Love Lipstick in Outlaw on my lips. Click here if you want to hear more about this insanely long wearing lipstick!
