Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade ($18) is my holy grail eyebrow product and I use it virtually every single day. Even through sweating, swimming and my oily face, I know that Dipbrow is going to come through for me! The smudge resistant and water-proof formula provides some serious staying power and when I wear it I can be sure that my brows are going to look fabulous until I remove them with makeup remover. Some water-proof makeup formulas can be very difficult to remove, even with water-proof makeup remover, but despite it’s impressive longevity, Dipbrow removes easily with regular ole makeup remover.
Okay, okay, I feel like I’m kind of rambling here but I don’t have many products that I consider a holy grail so I get a little excited when we get on the topic of Dipbrow. It’s a great product and very versatile but I do feel like there is a little bit of a learning curve if you aren’t used to gel/cream brow products. I know the first time or two that I used it it turned out to be a hot mess but after a little practice it becomes really easy to create your perfect eyebrow. I actually have a Dipbrow tutorial here, if you’d like to take a look at how I use this product.
The shades that I own are Soft Brown, Medium Brown & Dark Brown. Soft Brown is the warmest shade of the bunch and is rather light in color, as you might expect. Dark Brown also leans a little on the warm side. I was using Dark Brown for months and found that it suited me quite well. It wasn’t until I received Soft Brown and Medium Brown to try out that I realized that I actually prefer Medium Brown on myself, especially now that I’ve dyed my hair purple, since it is a more cool, almost taupey color.
